Restaurant of the Week: The Henry

Sam Fox has done it again. The Henry, located at 44th Street and Camelback in Phoenix, is being called “The Greatest Neighborhood Restaurant,” serving breakfast, lunch and dinner in Arcadia.

This American brasserie is the fifteenth concept created by the Fox family of restaurants in the past 15 years. Included as part of the restaurant is The XV Coffee Bar, open daily at 6:30 a.m. serving breakfast and lunch, coffee, fresh baked goods and featuring a pickup window for grab-and-go and takeout orders.

The main restaurant has been such a hit, a reservation is a must. Menu items include salads, burgers, tacos, fish and steak. Our favorite appetizer was by far the Brie Toast with roasted pear, pomegranate and hazelnut. The Heirloom Quinoa Tacos are a fan favorite and we loved the Wild Mushroom Tortellini. For dessert, the bread pudding is a must.

For weekend brunch, make sure to check out the carrot cake pancakes topped with cream cheese icing and the customizable bloody Mary cart.

In addition to great food, the decor is great – which we would expect nothing less of a Fox Restaurant. There is a beautiful patio with views of Camelback mountain, navy and gold-studded walls and a mix of modern and industrial decor.
