Each of The Saguaro’s four event spaces will be decorated and accentuated with glamorous dancers and other interactive entertainers. On New Year’s Eve, The Lodge Sasquatch Kitchen will turn its cozy ski cabin-inspired, big foot-themed restaurant and bar into a Hillbilly Soirée. Where red solo cups, fried pickles and flannel are encouraged, The Lodge will host a New Year’s Eve party with various food and drink specials including: $9 stimulus package including a tall can of beer and shot, $3 Lodge drafts, $4 Fireball Cinnamon Whiskey shots, $20 tall can beer buckets and a Midnight hotdog toast. Block Party on Mill Ave

Livewire

DJ Z-Trip and Black Bottom Lighters will perform at Livewire on Thursday, December 31, 2015. Doors open at 9:00 p.m. and the event is ages 18+. Zach Sciacca, known as DJ Z-Trip, began his career in Phoenix back in the 1990s and in the years since has become a national sensation, known for his for skill at mixing different genres and for being the originator of the “mashup” movement. Black Bottom Lighters is a reggae influenced group from Glendale, Ariz. who have garnered a strong local fan base since their inception in 2010. This year, the group released their first full length album, 2 or 2000. “The End Up” after party will be 2am-4am with local favorites DJ Soloman and DJ MCB. Celebrate the New Year in the Roosevelt Row Arts District. One night, two restaurants! Whiskey Rose and the newly opened Salt Tacos y Tequila will host a “Saints & Sinners Masquerade Ball” on New Year’s Eve. Salt will represent the “Saints” and Whiskey Rose will represent the “Sinners.” Enjoy a DJ spinning at both locations and a complimentary champagne toast at midnight.
