Fall has arrived and we are excited to get outside and enjoy the cooler weather. Here are some Arizona fall-inspired activities including pumpkin patches, corn mazes and more!

Schnepf Farms Pumpkin & Chili Party

Schnepf Farms Pumpkin & Chili Party is a great fall family experience taking place every Thursday through Sunday through the month of October in Queen Creek. Enjoy Hillbilly Bob’s Pig Races, a roller coaster, petting zoo, pumpkin launch, miniature golf, flying farmer ride, hay rides, swinging lady bugs ride, bonfires, marshmallow roasting, a 4 acre maze and 10 acre celebrity corn maze, live music every weekend, hayrides, train rides, fireworks on Friday and Saturday nights and more. There is a 2 acre Pumpkin Patch, gift shops, activities for everyone to enjoy including candle making, scarecrow making and more. Hours are Thursdays and Sundays 10am to 9pm and Fridays and Saturdays 10am to 10pm. Admission is $17 in advance online, $18 at the door or $15 at Fry’s.

Tolmachoff Farms Pumpkin Days & Corn Maze

Tolmachoff Farms in Glendale offers fun for the entire family October 1 – November 6, 2016. There is a great big pumpkin patch, 6 acre family corn maze with a new theme every year (search for pieces of your map as you walk through), mini corn maze (perfect for the little ones) and a haunted corn maze. Other activities include a petting zoo, train ride, hay pyramid, corn box, adult/child pedal cart track, jumping pillow and much more. Tickets are $10. Hours of operation vary.

Fall Music in the Garden

The Fall Music in the Garden concert series returns to Desert Botanical Garden on Friday evenings October 7 – November 18, 2016. Doors open at 5:30pm, concert is 7-9pm. There will be food and drinks available for purchase at Ullman Terrace. Tickets are $20 for members, $25 for the public. Must be 21 years or older to attend concert. No exceptions. Children will not be admitted even if a parent or guardian is present. Tickets are limited and advance purchase is strongly recommended.

Vertuccio Farms Corn Maze & Fall Festival

Vertuccio Farms in Mesa hosts it annual Corn Maze and Fall Festival October 1 – November 6, 2016. Hour are Monday-Thursday 9am – 9pm, Friday-Saturday 9am – 10pm and Sunday 10am – 6pm. The cost is $9 per person, with ages 2 and younger free. Admission includes the 7 acre Corn Maze, Giant Jump Pad, Giant Tube Roll, Mini Zip Line, Extreme Air Pillow, Giant Tube Slide, Mini Hay Maze, Spider-Web Climb, Duck Races, 1 Barrel Train Ride (Open daily), 1 Tractor Train Ride (Operates only on Saturday and Sunday 9am-6pm) and a Petting Zoo.

Arizona State Fair

The Arizona State Fair returns October 7 – 30, every Wednesday through Sunday, featuring thrilling rides, carnival games, food vendors, a petting zoo and live concerts. Live performances this year include Big & Rich, Cheap Trick, B.O.B., Iggy Azalea, The Flaming Lips, Slayer and more. General admission is $6 for adults and $3 for seniors and children.

Mortimer Farms Pumpkin Festival & Corn Maze

Locally owned Mortimer Farms will once again hold its annual Pumpkin Festival & Corn Maze event every weekend in October plus Columbus Day. At the center of this huge festival will be the farm’s 40-acre Pumpkin Patch plus a 15-acre Corn Maze. Every year the Mortimer Family cuts the corn with a descriptive picture in the middle of the maze. This year the corn is sculpted into a picture of Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton dancing hand in hand. As in past years there will be many attractions, games, farm activities, hay rides, entertainment, and much more. The brand new Farm Park features educational interactive display boards, old fashion farm rides and new this year Gem Mining. Admission, which covers all rides, is $15 per person. Kids 2 and under are free.
