Sonata’s Restaurant, located in Scottsdale, serves Modern European and American Cuisine in a stunning and upscale environment.

The moment you walk into Sonata’s you will be taken aback by the beautiful interior and which matches the elevated food selection.

Sonata’s prides itself in using real, fresh and in-season ingredients to create traditional Old World cuisine with a touch of American flair. We were surprised to find fresh pressed juices on the menu in addition to a great select of wines, craft cocktails and beers.

For a starter we had the Borscht, which is a beet soup with meatballs and root vegetables served with rye bread. If you think you don’t like beets or beet soup, we highly encourage you to try it anyway. We found this to be one of our favorite dishes on the entire menu. Next we had the Wood Charred Spanish Octopus, which we didn’t leave a bite of octopus on the plate. It was cooked perfectly.

Another standout dish was the Dutch Oven Crab Stuffed Cod “Zuvis Su Pomidorais” – which has a pomodoro red sauce, olives, capes, boursin mash, wilted spinach, aromatics and herbs. Other main dish options include Wood Grilled Filet Mignon, BBQ Glazed Salmon, Münchner Snitzel, Wood Grilled Burger and more.

Definitely save room for dessert. There are cakes, crepes and gelato to choose from, the Grand Marnier & Lavender Crème Brulee being one of our favorites.
