Nook Kitchen Downtown, located within the Hilton Garden Inn Phoenix Downtown, serves Modern American fare rooted in Italian traditions.
The restaurant occupies the corner space of the 1930’s-era historic building. It has a swanky, but also comfortable neighborhood feel, with floor-to-ceiling windows, stunning chandeliers and thoughtfully chosen chairs and table.
Once you’ve settled into a comfortable table under the dim lighting, we recommend starting with a glass of wine, beer or cocktail from the expertly chosen bottles of wine, beer and crafted cocktails on the Nook Kitchen menu.
Next, begin your meal with a starter such as the Poutine, made with house-cut fries, mozzarella curd and beef gravy. Add a fried egg or short rib to make it extra decadent. Or try the Fig Bruschetta, made with fig jam, prosciutto di parma, goat cheese and asparagus.
For the entree, the Lamb Shank is a fan favorite, served with a roasted carrot puree, roasted garlic herb fingerling potatoes, calabrian chimichurri. The Eggplant Parmesan Napoleon is a great vegetarian option, made with house-made breadcrumbs, eggplant, roasted garlic pomodoro, house-pulled mozzarella, parmesan and basil. The Shrimp Fra Diavolo is another great entree choice, made with jumbo shrimp, fresh linguine, white wine, shallots, red pepper, calabrian chilies, garlic, oregano, basil and crushed tomatoes.
Other entree options include their Wood Fired Pizzas and entree sized salads. Make sure to save room for dessert – choose from an Olive Oil Lemon Ricotta Cake, Ooey Gooey Butter Cake or the Chocolate Espresso Mousse Cake.
