On Aug. 28, one of the Valley’s most prized chefs and culinary legend of Tomaso’s and Tommy V’s Urban Kitchen and Bar, Tomaso Maggiore will host his monthly Chef’s Table series at Vivo! Ristorante.
Executive Chef Tomaso Maggiore will prepare an exclusive four-course and seasonal wine dinner at his latest Italian restaurant and market that features the highest quality Italian products, authentic pizzeria, and an aperi-dinner.
The Chef’s Table dinner begins at 6 pm with a Zonin Prosecco toast at the reception followed by a wine pairing dinner:
First course: Pouilly Fuissé wine paired with Stuffed Zucchini Blossoms with mascarpone cheese, pine nuts, basil, and couscous and Gnocchi with spinach and ricotta mouse, white truffle and cheese fondue sauce
Second course: Tenuta Polvaro Nero wine paired with Bucati with foraged mushroom ragú
Third course: Peter Franus Zinfandel paired with Spiedini, grilled beef tenderloin bundles, filled with Parma prosciutto, golden raisins, charred heirloom tomato and cacio cavallo cheese
Dolce: Moscato Saracco paired with Saint Joseph Sfinge (Zeppole), a vanilla beignet filled with sweetened ricotta cream and chocolate chips, topped with apricot glaze
