New Year’s Eve Dinner in Phoenix

A nice dinner before you head out to a New Year’s Eve party is a great way to start your evening. Check out these restaurants hosting a special New Year’s Eve dinner in the Phoenix area.

Sassi Restaurant

If you are looking to enjoy a romantic dinner of New Year’s Eve, Sassi restaurant in North Scottsdale is the perfect place.

The early dinner service begins with a cocktail and spuntini reception in the bar starting at 5:00 p.m. Early seating for dinner begins at 6:30 p.m. and tables may be occupied until 8 p.m. The second dinner seating begins at 8:30 p.m. and will feature a five-course menu, live entertainment provided by Renee Patrick and her band, party favors and a midnight toast with Piper-Heidsieck Champagne.

Reservations with payment are required online at sassi.biz. The cost is $75 per person for the early seating at 6:30 p.m. and $125 per person for the second seating at 8:30 p.m.

POSH Restaurant

POSH Restaurant in Scottsdale will ring in the New Year and celebrate its second anniversary with coursed “Best Of 2010” and vegan tasting menus. The special menus, in five or seven course options, will be available from 5:00 to 11:00 p.m. Friday, December, 31.

The cost will be $55 for 5 courses and $75 for 7 courses.

Trader Vic’s

Trader Vic’s at Hotel Valley Ho in Scottsdale will be serving a special dinner New Year’s Eve night from 5:00-9:30 p.m. (the last seating is at 9:30). The regular menu available as well as a special menu created just for the evening. There will also be a complimentary champagne toast at midnight, and champagne specials will be available during dinner.

Blanco Tacos + Tequila

Blanco Tacos + Tequila in Scottsdale will be serving its full menu on New Year’s Eve, with a special New Year’s Eve price of $40 per person after 5:00 p.m. This special price includes one starter, two entrees, one dessert and two House Margaritas. Blanco Tacos + Tequila will also have a D.J. who will mix music from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m.

ZuZu

ZuZu at Hotel Valley Ho in Scottsdale will be offering a four-course menu with two seating times on New Year’s Eve. The 6:30 p.m. seating is $95 per person, and the 9:30 p.m. seating is $125 per person. Those reserving a spot at one of the two dinner seatings will receive a ticket to the Sky Line Rooftop, atop the hotel’s seven-story tower, where a complimentary champagne toast will be held at midnight.

Sushi Roku

Sushi Roku’s Red Sun Lounge at W Scottsdale will be offering New Year’s Eve dining with seating available in both the main dining room and Red Sun Lounge at 5:00/5:30, 7:00/7:30, 9:00/9:30 and 10:00/10:30. Reservations can be made for the early 5:00/5:30 seating and toast the New Year with half priced bottles of wine and sake or for 10:00/10:30 in the Red Sun Lounge to get premier seating for the firework celebration.

The Grill at The Wigwam

The Wigwam will ring in the New Year with an event including a four-course dinner, dancing and live entertainment at The Grill.

The cost is $85 per person and includes dinner, party favors and a bottle of champagne for each couple. Guests interested in just dancing and live entertainment can enjoy the celebration for $15 per person in the bar area.
