Sapporo Scottsdale Reveals Its Refreshed Pan-Asian Style in 2011

Sapporo – Scottsdale’s premier dining destination for authentic Japanese sushi, Pacific Rim-inspired cuisine, and artful Teppanyaki – is celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2011 with a design remodel and menu additions.

In addition to new value-driven lunch specials such as the Three Sum and Pad Thai Tacos and a seasonally-inspired “Liquid Market” cocktail menu, the restaurant offers its selection of traditional Japanese sushi, authentic Teppanyaki, and modern specialties from the Pacific Rim by new Executive Chef Stephen Stromberg.

Now open for lunch Monday-Friday from 11 a.m.-3p.m., Sapporo offers guests a new midday menu by Executive Chef Stephen Stromberg that includes an assortment of Pan-Asian small plates, bowls, and the new Three Sum special, alongside its signature menu of traditional and innovative sushi and Pacific Rim specialties.

Sapporo also recently debuted a “Liquid Market” cocktail program that offers refreshing new drinks that highlight seasonal ingredients and house-infused spirits.

Along with new lunch and cocktail options, Sapporo kicked off the New Year with reinvigorated dinner and happy hour menus.

A very cool new feature is the complimentary shuttle service Sapporo is offering. Sapporo guests can enjoy the convenience and luxury of a complimentary neighborhood shuttle, serving customers before and after meals, from 4 p.m. to close daily. Available for both pick-up and drop-off at countless spots within a 10-mile radius of the restaurant, including Old Town Scottsdale for a night on the town, Salt River Fields for a Major League Baseball spring training session, or The Westin Kierland Resort & Spa for a relaxing evening excursion, Sapporo’s 14-person shuttle can be reserved in advance by calling the restaurant or inquiring at the front entrance.

I can only imagine how good Sapporo is and will be in the future by aquiring Chef Stromberg. I was his Sous Chef for almost 5 years at Lat.30,and he has some brilliant ideas. I know that I will be dining there in the very near future.
