Bonfire Grill and Bar, a new restaurant in Old Town Scottsdale, has officially opened its doors offering wood fire cuisine inspired by Arizona’s native roots.
Bonfire has a laid back atmosphere with live music and DJs at night. Slideshows of Arizona nostalgia will play on seven screens throughout the restaurant to enhance the cultural atmosphere and help capture how the state has evolved over the past 50 years.
Bonfire Grill and Bar boasts a unique array of food on the fire roasted menu created by native celebrity chef, Matthew Carter.
“We will be drawing American cuisine from across the country to give the menu a range of tastes all prepared over our signature wood fire grill,” said Carter, also the executive chef and proprietor of Zinc Bistro and The Mission.
The signature made-to-order House Cheddar Biscuits and the Skewered Campari Tomato Salad are two tasty recommendations for starters.
For your main dish, try the skewers prepared over a pecan wood fire grill. Diners can choose from a mouthwatering menu such as Scottish Salmon served on Alderwood skewers with fresh lemon, garlic and veggies, or the Surf and Turf Filet and Shrimp skewer severed with tasty Worcestershire sauce for dipping. Guests also can customize their own skewer by picking the protein, adding some vegetables and finger-licking sauce.
To complete the meal, the Cast Iron Toasted Marshmallow S’mores are a must-try.
