Restaurant of the Week: Twisted Rose

Twisted Rose Winery and Eatery in North Scottsdale serves choice wines, craft beers and a flavorful menu in an atmosphere that can be perfect for both a casual meal or a special night out.

Co-owned by Frank Yaconis and Executive Chef Nick Schaus, Twisted Rose Winery and Eatery pairs hand crafted wines, beers and martinis with twisted up dishes that have a wine-centric focus. The North Scottsdale restaurant offers dinner 7 days a week, lunch Monday through Saturday and brunch on Sundays.

Lunch offerings includes salads and sandwiches as well as daily specials that includes the chef’s signature stuffed burger on Thursdays.

The dinner menu includes a variety of appetizers, salads, bruschetta, entrees and desserts. A Fab AZ dinner menu favorite was the stuffed apple with pulled pork in a Merlot BBQ sauce. The seared scallops were also fabulous and you must save room for the chef’s signature bread pudding.

Sunday brunch includes eggs benedict, stuffed french toast, omelets and of course bacon and eggs.

Happy Hour is Monday through Friday, 3:00 – 6:00 p.m., with $7 sliders, bruschetta and stuffed mushrooms.
