Salad and Go is a made-to-order, healthy fast food restaurant serving wraps, salads, super smoothies, kids items and more from (soon-to-be) 7, Valley-wide locations.

Salad and Go started in 2012 with a mission to bring healthy food to the drive-thru. They use local, natural and organic ingredients to create their house-made dressings, freshly chopped vegetables and cooked in-house meats. Their menu items are not only good for you, but taste great too!

While a healthy drive-thru option is what started the restaurant concept, they also offer patio seating for those 9 months out of the year where we get to enjoy weather perfection. In either scenario, the menu is jam-packed with both breakfast and lunch items as well as healthy options for the little ones. The standard menu offers 10 salads (that can all be made into wraps) and three smoothies, but keep an eye out for the seasonal menu which offers even more delectable choices.

If you are looking for a tried and true pick, try the BBQ Ranch or Cobb, they are the most popular items from the menu. I, on the there hand, opted to try the Fall Harvest wrap, a seasonal selection, filled with fresh beets, roasted sweet potato, sliced apples, dried cranberries, candied pecans and feta cheese with mixed greens and romaine paired topped with a house-made Champagne Vinaigrette. I also added grilled chicken from their protein add-in selections.

The flavors were nicely balanced and the ingredients fresh and colorful. If you hadn’t ordered it yourself, you would never guess your lunch came from an “on the go” restaurant. Oh, and the serving sizes are huge! So your healthy meal also packs a filling punch, no 3pm snack needed to make it to dinner time.
