July 4th Tempe Town Lake Festival

The Annual July 4th Tempe Town Lake Festival will take place Monday, July 4th at Tempe Beach Park, gates opening at 5pm. The event features live music, a beer garden, food court, a “Family Fun Fest” and Kiwanis Club of Tempe 65th Annual Fireworks Spectacular shot from Mill Avenue Bridge. The fireworks spectacular will be launched from the Mill Avenue Bridge and choreographed to music for all tastes and interests including patriotic, pop, country, and more. General admission is just $5, tickets can be purchased at Fry’s grocery stores, online or at the door the day of the event. Tickets for the VIP Garden, which includes All American BBQ, 2 beverages, seating in a misted area and prime viewing for the fireworks show are $30 for kids, $60 for adults.

Fourth of July Freedom Fest

The Fairmont Scottsdale Princess will host their annual Fourth of July Freedom Fest July 1-4. The 6th Annual Fourth of July Freedom Fest at Fairmont Scottsdale will feature vintage air shows, concerts, fireworks, all-American fare, military tributes and poolside fun, with vacation packages benefiting military families. Every evening July 1-4 will feature live music and a fireworks show at 9pm, free for resort guests and those dining at the restaurants.

Stars & Stripes Extravaganza

The Stars & Stripes Extravaganza at the Hilton Tucson El Conquistador Golf & Tennis Resort in Tucson, is a public event on Monday, July 4th, featuring a classic BBQ, live entertainment and a 30 minute fireworks show. Hosted at Last Territory, the resort’s rugged, outdoor Western-themed venue, the event will kick-off with a Classic BBQ Buffet served from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. highlighting American favorites from a variety of garden fresh salads and hearty sides to herb roasted chicken, Southwestern green chili pork, hamburgers, hot dogs and baby back pork ribs. For dessert, a family-style table of Fourth of July desserts including blueberry and apple pie, strawberry shortcake and more. From7 to 9 p.m., live entertainment will take the stage on the fairway of the Pusch Ridge Course, followed by an extravagant 30-minute firework display starting at 9:00 p.m. Tickets are $55 for adults and $25 for children 5-12. Freedom Fourth Pool Party

The Freedom Fourth Pool Party at LUSTRE Rooftop Bar at Hotel Palomar Phoenix will take place Saturday, July 2. The pool is open to the public at 11am, admission is free for hotel guests, $15 for non-hotel guests. Enjoy live music by Elvis Before Noon 2-6pm, and Guest DJ, Mr. P-Body 8pm-12am. There will be beer samplings 2-4pm and party-goers can play with beach balls, giant pool toys and more, all day. Westgate Firework Fest

The sky will light up over Westgate Entertainment District for the fourth annual Westgate Firework Fest on Sunday, July 3 from 5pm – 9:30pm during the West Valley’s largest fireworks show and festival. Last year, more than 40,000 people turned out and this year promises to be even more patriotic. The free, family-friendly event also has ample, convenient and free parking that will be available at all five parking lots surrounding Westgate. From 5pm until 9pm, live bands and DJs will perform on two stages. The family stage, located at Fountain Park, will have a DJ, dancing, activities for kids and giveaways. The second stage will be located at WaterDance Plaza, in front of Gila River Arena, with a variety of rock, alternative, pop and country music performances by local bands. With a portion of the proceeds benefitting 100 Club of Arizona, an outdoor beer garden will be setup near WaterDance Plaza with games like giant Jenga and cornhole along with enter-to-win prizes.

Great American 4th Celebration

Copper Sky Regional Park will be decked out in red, white and blue as the City of Maricopa holds its annual Great American 4th Independence Day celebration on Monday, July 4. Kicking off at 6 p.m., the family-friendly event is jam-packed with patriotic entertainment and activities for all ages, including rousing musical performances by Quantum, a six-piece, high-energy live band playing old school, funk, R&B, rock, soul and pop music. The event will culminate with a spectacular fireworks display to mark the 240th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. As part of the celebration, a Kids Water Zone will feature wet and dry inflatable slides and bouncers. Wristbands for all-evening access to the Kids Water Zone are only $5 for children over the age of three (cash only). Wristbands and parking decals will be available for pre-purchase for $4 (cash or check only) at Copper Sky Multi-Gen lobby area located at 44345 W. Martin Luther King Blvd., from 5-7 p.m. on July 1 and 2. Guests will also have an opportunity to enjoy a wide variety of food options, including the traditional Fourth of July fare of hot dogs and hamburgers, at a nominal cost from a variety of food vendors. A complimentary shuttle service will be provided by City of Maricopa from 5:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. The following seven pick-up locations are available throughout the city: Santa Rosa Elementary School, Santa Cruz Elementary School, Maricopa Wells Middle School, Butterfield Elementary School, Ace Hardware (ADA Access), Saddleback Elementary School and Maricopa Elementary School.
