Restaurant of the Week: Tanzy

Tanzy, located at Scottsdale Quarter, is a restaurant with an inventive take on rustic Italian cuisine.

Serving brunch on the weekends and lunch and dinner 7 days a week, Tanzy has a lively indoor/outdoor atmosphere and a variety of menu items to choose from.

For weekend brunch, we tried the Italian Donuts, which comes with dipping choices of nutella, lemon curd and seasonal jam. Delicious sugared donuts, fresh and warm, with dipping choices of different levels of sweetness. Paired with the Scottsdale Mimosa, a twist on the classic mimosa with prickly pear. You can also order a quartet of mimosas or Bellini’s, if one just isn’t enough to quench your thirst. We also tried the Crispy Chicken & Sourdough Waffles, which is a perfect blend of savory and sweet, served with country gravy and syrup. It was our first time trying the highly anticipated combination, and we are now a huge fan. It’s the perfect combination of breakfast and lunch in one dish. The Poached Egg brunch dish, served with baby artichokes, crispy prosciutto and truffle hollandaise came highly recommended as well. The artichokes and crispy prosciutto added another dimension of flavor with the poached egg.
