Mountain Shadows Resort in Paradise Valley

The newest boutique resort to open in the Valley, Mountain Shadows, is set at the base of Camelback Mountain in Paradise Valley and is a modern take on its iconic 1950’s namesake.

The original Mountain Shadows opened in 1959 – an iconic property that set a new benchmark in the luxury hospitality industry. Rebuilt from the ground up by Woodbine Development and Westroc Hospitality, the new resort features 183 guest rooms, a presidential suite, a full-service restaurant, two pools, a high tech fitness facility, an 18-hole golf and lounge experience, as well as 37,500 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space, and onsite luxury resort condominiums and lofts available for purchase.

While Mountain Shadows is a completely new build with modern architecture and sleek design features, thoughtful details throughout the resort honor the rich history of Paradise Valley and the property itself. Design elements include floor-to-ceiling glass windows and an abundance of outdoor patios and terraces, showcasing the property’s stunning views of Camelback Mountain and serene spaces. Scottsdale-based Allen + Philp Architects designed the resort and New York City interior design firm MARKZEFF conceptualized the interiors.
