The week I test drove the Lexus ES 300h, we hit record setting temperatures in the Phoenix area – we’re talking 120 degree temps for almost a week! Needless to say, I was seeking relief from the heat in anyway I could. Thankfully the Lexus ES 300h had some great features that made the heat more bearable.

Performance Driving Mode
We all know that cranking the AC in the car can suck up extra gas, affecting the miles per gallon. But when it is 122 degrees outside, AC on full blast is a must. Thankfully the Lexus ES 300h has the option to switch into an Eco driving mode, so you can conserve gas on those hot summer days. Since I love to drive fast though, I like that I can switch back to the Sport driving mode just as easily!
