The Lexus GS 350 F Sport is a great every day sedan with a punch of power and perfect for road trips!
We drove the 2018 Lexus GS 350 F Sport to Palm Springs, which was a comfortable 4 hour drive in this luxury sedan. Here are some of our favorite features that made this the ideal road trip vehicle.
Smooth Ride
Lexus is known for offering a super smooth and quiet ride, no matter where you are driving or how fast. You never have to worry about outside noise drowning out your music when driving top speeds on the highway. The F Sport has track-honed suspension that also lets you take tight turns with ease. The 3.5-liter V6 engine offers an aggressively smooth driving experience with an enhanced performance damper and a responsive six- or eight-speed paddle-shift transmission. This made zipping around the curvy roads in Palm Springs a breeze!
Heads Up Display
This is one of my favorite Lexus features. I had a led foot, so having my speed and the speed limit right in front of my face on the windshield while I am driving on the highway prevents me from speeding too fast and getting a ticket. I find having to glance down at the speedometer to be a hazard, so it is a great safety feature that I find to be genius.
Interior Comfort
There is nothing worse than an uncomfortable seat for a road trip. The Lexus GS 350 F Sport has bolstered sport seats that are engineered to grip you through every turn and the leather is soft and comfortable. Palm Springs was hitting 100 degrees when I was there, so the ventilated front seats were a blessing. The cool air kept my legs from getting sweaty against the leather.
