Marcellino Ristorante will welcome 2020 with a special New Year’s Eve Party on Tuesday, December 31. The festive annual event features delicious, authentic Italian cuisine, live music, dancing, party favors and plenty of bubbly for all.
Chef Marcellino Verzino and his wife, Sima, host the party, which kicks off at 6pm (doors open at 4pm). Singer Monte Procopio, known as “the Velvet Voice,” will begin performing at 7:30pm. And after 11pm, the floor is cleared to make room for dancing as Procopio turns up the tempo.
Some of the popular dishes include Pasta di Fagioli, a hearty bean and pasta soup, Chef’s Cacio e Pepe, a hand-crafted pasta made with Romano cheese and crushed black pepper infused linguine sautéed with caramelized red onion, pancetta and tomato, and Chef’s Straccetti con Tartufo, a delicious entrée made with torn pasta sheets and served with his homemade sausage chunks and shaved black truffles.
Other highlights of the special New Year’s Eve menu include:
· Angolotti di Bisonte for $55 (New this year) Large pasta pockets filled with purée of Bison Ribeye in a browned butter sauce
· Zuppa di Pesce Royale for $75 (Only on New Year’s Eve) Shrimp, clams, mussels, calamari, fish of the day and half of a Maine lobster sautéed in tomato and white wine
· Filetto di Maiale for $32 Pork tenderloin sautéed with tender asparagus, green peppercorns and finished with a bourbon flambé
