ARRIVE Phoenix to Open Uptown on Labor Day Weekend

Uptown Phoenix’s first-ever hotel—ARRIVE Phoenix—is scheduled to open its doors near Camelback Road and 4th Avenue in September. The opening will mark the first of a two-phase plan, with the second phase slated to be complete in November.

Uptown Phoenix’s new neighborhood hotel, 79-room ARRIVE Phoenix, is set to welcome its first guests on Friday, Sept. 4. Phase One includes the opening of the first of two restored mid-century modern towers. Guests will also be able to check out the Pop Stand, a hand-crafted paletas shop that doubles as the registration desk; on-site Cartel Coffee Lab; and Lylo Swim Club, a poolside bar and restaurant from the geniuses behind Bitter & Twisted Cocktail Parlour and Little Rituals.

Come Nov. 15, the second guestroom tower, which features the Don Woods’ Say When rooftop bar, will open. Don Woods’ will not only offer 270-degree views, but a step back to the ’60s and ’70s thanks to retro-modern cocktails and old school bar bites (think fondue and chilled shrimp cocktail).

The look and feel of ARRIVE Phoenix is intended to be a bit like home and a bit like vacation, with comfy Egyptian cotton linens, imported Tyneham bath products, mid-century-inspired fireplaces by Modfire in select rooms and a collection of works from top local artists and designers like ModFire, Slabhaus and Urban Plough. Plus, a record collection curated by Stinkweeds is available for guests to cue up on their in-room record player.

High-tech, thorough safety protocols are in motion at ARRIVE Phoenix to ease guests’ minds. Touchless payments, pre-bagged linens and bathrobes, the use of Hospital-Grade Electrostatic Disinfection machines and requiring all guests to wear masks are all aspects of the hotel’s safety and sanitization measures.
