This winter, Scottsdale will offer a warm welcome to The NOW Massage, marking the Los Angeles-based brand’s first Arizona boutique. The wellness brand transforms the traditional therapeutic massage space, with its unique aesthetic and elevated experience.
Hailing from Los Angeles and founded in 2015, the first Valley The NOW Massage boutique will be located within The Shops at Zocallo, near Scottsdale Quarter and Kierland Commons. The spot is slated to open Jan. 2.
“Although Arizona has become a mecca for wellness tourism, we saw there was a void in the greater Phoenix area for a next-level massage experience in an inspired space, without committing to the time and expense of a full-service spa,” says The NOW co-founder and chief creative officer Gara Post. “Part of our philosophy is incorporating self-care into one’s routine without it being cost prohibitive or impossible to schedule. We know The NOW, an oasis in the city for relaxation and healing massages, will be a perfect fit in the community.”
The NOW in Scottsdale will offer local relaxation-seekers the reimagined, approachable luxury of a neighborhood spa with quality massages and custom enhancements. The Scottsdale boutique will boast clean, modern design with natural materials, marked by the scent of its signature jasmine coconut candles.
The NOW massage therapists receive advanced training in the wellness brand’s custom services that are designed specifically for stress relief, health improvement and relaxation. Guests can choose between three signature massage styles and pair their service with a variety of custom enhancements. The Swedish-inspired options include The NOW, a signature relaxation massage; The HEALER, an energy-balancing massage designed to reduce stress; and The STRETCH, a sports-inspired recovery massage. Guests can choose from custom enhancements like herbal heat therapy, deep tissue, soothing eye masks, Calm Balm and Gua Sha, a traditional Chinese medicine technique that uses smooth rose quartz tools to target specific areas of the body.
Plus, Scottsdale guests can look forward to shopping The NOW branded product line and custom jewelry collection, designed by Post. The line is available at boutiques and online.
