From Jan. 27 to March 21, Fairmont Scottsdale Princess is rolling out the ice-skating rinks, endless fire pits and al fresco fun for the whole family during the brand-new Winter at the Princess.
Oh, the weather outside is, well, pretty beautiful. But that doesn’t mean Phoenicians couldn’t use a little winter wonderland in their lives. That’s where the brand-new Winter at the Princess comes in.
The event, at Fairmont Scottsdale Princess, begins Jan. 27 and ends March 21, taking place from 5 to 10 p.m. on Sundays, Thursdays and Wednesdays, and 5 to 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. (For up-to-date information on
mask policies for the city and resort, learn about the ALLSAFE program here.)
Standout features include The Rink, with 6,000 square feet of real ice with luxury VIP fire pits available for rent with food and beverage service available for outdoor dining. The Lodge offers tasty eats and drinks, plenty of socially distanced seated and lumberjack-approved lawn games. Need new winter threads? The Chalet, your ski and sun outfitter, is your go-to shop.
The Village hosts live acoustic music, complimentary fire pit seating to roast s’mores and a long list of wintery rides and experiences, like the Alpine Skate Trail and Snow Mountain ice slide. Little ones, ages 2 to 8, will adore the Kid’s Village, which is home to family-friendly rides and the resort’s newest furry friend, Brrrnee the St. Bernard.
A variety of Winter at the Princess packages are available for overnight guests. Valet parking and admission is 50 percent off with a $75 minimum spend at any of the resort’s signature restaurants. Admission/parking tickets are $60 for four people and include complimentary self-parking and unlimited enjoyment of all rides and attractions, except skating. The Ice Pass can be purchased for $25 per person in addition to admission and allows guests unlimited skate time on the Ice Rink or Alpine Skate Trail.
