Get Your Summer Camp on at Home

Some of our favorite childhood memories happened while at summer camp. Many have been suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but thanks to the Children’s Museum of Phoenix and their Camp in a Box program, your kids can still get their summer camp fix all from the comforts of their home. Campers will receive a box which includes an instruction guide, a schedule, project supplies, art materials, and access to virtual content that fits in with weekly themes. Prices start at $129 per box. For more information and to purchase a box, visit www.childrensmuseumofphoenix.org.

Enjoy a Drive-In Movie at Schnepf Farms

One of the cooler things to come out of this year is the resurgence in popularity of drive-in movies. This is a result of many movie theaters closing due to COVID-19. But regardless, drive-in movies offer a fun, socially-distanced night out where you can fall in love with some of your favorite films all over again. Schnepf Farms emerged as one of the Valley’s favorite make-shift drive-in locations because it allows more distance between vehicles, and doesn’t have the same issues with light pollution that city-based drive-ins have. The location is playing a number of films all throughout July. Prices are $15 per vehicle. For more information, visit www.schnepffarms.com
