Staycation-seekers have something new to look forward to this fall. Canopy by Hilton Scottsdale Old Town is set to open in Old Town Scottsdale in late September, marking the area’s first new-build hotel in more than a decade.
Located in Scottsdale’s arts district found on the northeast corner of First Street and Marshall Way, Canopy Scottsdale will be a full-service establishment with 177 guestrooms and suites and 2,000 square feet of meeting space. Guests can expect a grab-and-go counter for locals to get a quick bite or coffee as well as a rooftop bar that will surely become the place to see and be seen in Scottsdale. A ground-floor signature restaurant, serving locally sourced ingredients, craft cocktails and Camelback Mountain views, is also set to open.
For guests wanting to get out and about, they can hop on a Canopy bike to go out exploring. (The hotel will be close to Scottsdale Fashion Square, Scottsdale Stadium and Museum of the West, among many other area attractions.)
Guests can expect seven-story Canopy Scottsdale to offer a look of contemporary elegance, with dramatic natural elements paired with artwork by local talents and a rich color palette. A design standout promises to be the Canopy headboard designed by Dallas-based Studio 11 Design. It will be fashioned from local wood and etched with copper and up lighting in order to replicate the sun setting behind Camelback Mountain.
