Chandler International Film Festival

Featuring over 120 films from more than 35 countries and six continents, the Chandler International Film Festival is back for its sixth year and will take place from Jan. 18 to Jan. 23 at the newly opened LOOK: Dine-In Cinema in Chandler. 

In addition to a diverse, surprise movie lineup, including international films, the film festival will feature events including a red carpet walk complete with paparazzi, opening and award ceremonies, workshops, programs, Q & A panel discussions, exciting after-parties and a grand celebrity guest appearances, like Sean Young, Pat Finn or Bubba Ganter. 

“I’m very excited to bring back the Chandler Film Festival for a sixth edition this year,” says Mitesh Patel, CIFF president and festival director, in a press release. “Our goal is to always showcase the diversity, innovation and uniqueness through the works of filmmakers from across the world in a local setting. Thanks to the support and participation of talented filmmakers and the Chandler community, we’re able to do just that.” 

Even with last year’s COVID precautions in place, the festival set a record for its revenue amount and is expected to do even better this year. Tickets for a single show are $10 to $15 while a day pass is $50 and a festival full pass is $220. An online streaming pass for a movie is $8 to $10 while an online full festival pass is $100.
