Barrio Queen
On Sunday, May 5, Barrio Queen celebrates Cinco de Mayo at its Scottsdale, Gilbert and North Phoenix/Desert Ridge locations. The Scottsdale Location will be throwing a block party extending its space from the restaurant over to the Scottsdale Waterfront Bridge. Guests can celebrate from 11am to 8pm at all three locations with drink specials and entertainment from open to close. Live music by Mariachi Bands and DJ Veto fills the air as attendees show off their party spirit by taking selfies with life-sized dancing skeletons and taking a swing at a piñata. The Old Town Scottsdale Location Block Party will have additional games like corn hole, life-sized connect four, jenga, beer pong and more! Fun giveaways round out the day for family fun with the kids and then geared for adults at night.

El Hefe and Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row Tempe
El Hefe and Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row are teaming up to throw the ultimate “Cinco de Mayo Weekend” in Tempe between both bars in celebration of Cinco de Mayo. El Hefe Tempe will open at 10am both Saturday, May 4 and Sunday, May 5. Local DJ’s will be spinning music all day and night and both locations will be decked out in festive décor. Drink specials include buckets of Dos XX and Tecate for $25, and $2 off Patron Silver and Jose Cuervo.

Celebrate Cinco de Mayo weekend in Scottsdale at El Hefe and Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row. Opening early on both Saturday and Sunday, the sister concepts will feature Dos XX, Tecate, Don Julio Blanco, and Hornitos Plata specials all day and night and have music from the best local DJs.

Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row Gilbert is hosting a weekend long Cinco de Mayo celebration with live bands and DJs starting at noon and into the night both Saturday and Sunday. Drink specials include buckets of Dos XX or Tecate for $25, and $2 off Patron Silver and Jose Cuervo. On Sunday, guests can participate in Whiskey Row’s Cornhole Tournament presented by Dos XX. Riot House in Scottsdale is celebrating Cinco de Mayo with a weekend long party. The festivities kick off Saturday, May 4 when Riot House opens early at 10am with the best local DJ’s spinning music all day and night. The celebration continues Sunday, May 5 at 11am. The venue will be decorated, and drink specials include buckets of Dos XX and Tecate for $25, and $2 off Don Julio Blanco and Hornitos Plata.
Sandbar Mexican Grill
Sandbar Mexican Grill will have a weekend long fiesta full of live music at all three Valley locations. Plus, the locations will have extensions for revelers to enjoy their favorite margaritas, tacos and more. Sandbar Desert Ridge will feature artists including The Hourglass Cats on Saturday and Crown Kings on Sunday. On Saturday, May 4, Elvis Before Noon will be performing at Sandbar’s Chandler location. On May 5th, Blanco Tacos + Tequila has partnered with George Straight-owned tequila brand, Codigo 1530, to throw an all-day fiesta with $5 Classic and Skinny Margaritas – both featuring Codigo 1530 Blanco Tequila. At all Blanco locations, party like there’s no mañana with DJ spins from 12pm. to 8pm, Codigo 1530 swag, and a photobooth to capture all of the fiesta fun.
Old Town Gringos
Guests are invited to Old Town Gringos for a Cinco de Mayo bash on Sunday, May 5th from 11am-close! The restaurant will offer $5 Pacifico and Modelo Especial drafts and $6 OTG house margaritas featuring Jose Cuervo Tradicional in addition to onsite giveaways, live music and DJs all day long. Themed food items will be available including $3 buffet style a la carte ground beef, green chili chicken and barbacoa tacos and more.
Casa Amigos
Casa Amigos is hosting a celebration on Sunday, May 5 with DJs, margaritas, ice cold cervezas, tacos, and more.
Taco Guild
On Saturday, May 4 and Sunday, May 5, Taco Guild is offering five food specials for Cinco de Mayo! Also, on Sunday, May 5, the restaurant is hosting a “find the flag” giveaway. Ten small Mexican flags will be hidden in the silverware rollups. The lucky guests who find the flags will win a $25 gift card to Taco Guild.
Sierra Bonita Grill
On Cinco de Mayo, Sierra Bonita Grill will be offering specials during brunch, as well as extended happy hour. During brunch, from 10am to 3pm, they’ll be serving Micheladas, Fresh Squeezed Margaritas and Pomegranate Margaritas for only $5 each. They’ll also be serving two special brunch dishes for the occasion, Handmade Gorditas and Chile Rellenos en Nogadas. After brunch, Sierra Bonita Grill will be extending its happy hour from 3pm to close. Happy hour offerings include more than 15 food and drink choices for only $7 each. A sampling of food selections include Borracho Nachos, Hopper’s Poppers stuffed jalapeños, Carne Asada Street Tacos and the Sonoran Hot Dog. The are also a variety of signature cocktails, such as the Daiquiri Anos, Sangria, and Miguel’s Mule.
Casa Terra
Casa Terra has created a special menu just for Cinco de Mayo. These items will only be available for the holiday. Guests can choose from a variety of all vegan appetizers, entrees and drinks. Start with Table-side Guacamole and for entrees choose from Enchiladas Mole or a Taco Trio. Pair the meal with an Organic Mango Lime Margarita or a Flight of Organic Mezcal. Casa Terra will be open on Cinco de Mayo from 5 to 9pm.
Ghost Ranch
All day, Ghost Ranch in Tempe is offering its signature Prickly Pear Frose ‘Rita for just $5. The frozen cocktail is made with Blanco Tequila, Rose, prickly pear and lime. The cool and refreshing adult beverage will keep the holiday spirit alive all day long.
