On Friday, May 5th from 11am – 11pm, Barrio Queen will be celebrating Cinco de Mayo and their 5 Year Anniversary at both their Scottsdale and Gilbert locations. Enjoy drink specials and entertainment all day long, live music, DJ set, take selfies with life-sized Luchadores and even take a swing at the piñata. Fun giveaways round out the day for family fun with the kids and then geared for adults at night.
Salt Tacos Y Tequila
Salt Tacos Y Tequila at Westgate Entertainment District is celebrating with a party called Mi Caza Es Su Caza, featuring $5 Tequila Cazadores Margaritas. Guests will also enjoy Tequila Cazadores sampling, a photo booth and a live performance from a well-known Mariachi band from 5pm to 9pm.
Social Tap Eatery
Downtown Scottsdale’s neighborhood eatery, Social Tap will be hosting their one One-Year Anniversary in conjunction with a Cinco De Mayo Celebration. On Friday, May 5 from 4 p.m. to 2 a.m., attendees can enjoy $2.50 mix and match taco deals, $2 taquitos, $6 frozen margaritas and $4 pints of Dos Equis. There will be live music provided by a band and the celebratory event is free to attend.
Cinco De Mayo Block Party on Mill Ave
El Hefe and Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row have teamed up to throw a massive block party in Tempe to celebrate Cinco de Mayo. Local DJ’s will be spinning top 40, hour and hip hop and both locations will be decked out in décor with surprises for its guests. Drink specials include: $6 El Jimidor shots & drinks, $8 Don Julio Shots & Drinks, $200 Bottles of Don Julio before 9pm
El Hefe Scottsdale
El Hefe Scottsdale is hosting “Cinco de Hefe” on Friday, May 5th. The famous mini donkey “Pancho” will be there to pet and take pictures with. Guests will enjoy food and drink deals including $6 Sauza Blue shots and drinks, $9 Patron shots and drinks, and $200 Bottles of Patron until 9pm.
SOL Cocina
SOL Cocina at Scottsdale Quarter is celebrating Cinco de Mayo by offering five caliente deals. For just $5, enjoy the Taco Vampiro, Taco Gobernador, Naked Guacamole, House Margarita made with El Jimidor Tequila or Watermelon Margarita made with El Jimidor Tequila. The specials will be happening all day from 11am to 10pm. There will also be a photo booth from 5pm to 9pm and live music with Scott Hallock.
Sierra Bonita Grill
In celebration of Cinco de Mayo, on May 5, Sierra Bonita Grill in Phoenix will be offering a special price all day on two of its popular margaritas, $12 lunch deals, and extended happy hour from 3 pm to close. From open to close, Sierra Bonita Grill’s Fresh Squeezed Margarita and Pomegranate Margarita will be $5 each, available throughout the entire restaurant. During lunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Sierra Bonita Grill will also be offering five lunch specials for only $12 each.
Sandbar Mexican Grill
Celebrate Cinco de Mayo in style this year with Sandbar Mexican Grill in Phoenix and Chandler. Enjoy traditional Mexican favorites including 11 varieties of tacos, fresh guacamole, sizzling fajitas and burritos, all while sipping margaritas and enjoying special live music in Sandbar’s relaxed vibe. Both Sandbar locations will feature live music and DJs all evening long on Friday, May 5. Sandbar Chandler will feature performances by Metalhead with an opening set by The Hourglass Cats, plus DJ Metcalf will close the evening with a live performance. Sandbar Desert Ridge will also have live performances featuring Vaughn Willis and Ear Candy. Both locations of Sandbar Mexican Grill will be open from 11am to 2am on Cinco de Mayo.
