We all know that the most important meal of the day is breakfast. Some of us just don’t have time for it in our daily routine. Arizona Breakfast Weekend is making it worth it for you to fit it in your day! This weekend long event, July 30 – August 2, will feature restaurants all over the Valley to give them the spotlight for breakfast and brunch items.
Breakfast Weekend will feature three dining price points and each restaurant that participates will select what they are offering from one of these options:
- The breakfast bundle will include an over-the-top bundle of breakfast favorites for $6.
- The Brunch Lite will include a mini-brunch style menu and Bloody Mary or Mimosa at most locations for $12.
- Brunch will be a traditional resort-style brunch offering with all the bells and culinary whistles for $25.
We got a sneak peek at Perk Eatery’s offering for Arizona Breakfast Weekend. Co-owner Pauline Martinez is offering the Chimchurri Hash and Eggs: sweet potato and Yukon gold potatoes with spring peas, garlic and onion hash topped with two eggs, crumbled feta, chipotle creama and fresh chimcurri sauce.
Arizona Breakfast Weekend, produced by the Arizona Restaurant Association, is designed to highlight breakfast with the help of sponsors like Hickman’s Eggs and Shamrock Farms. The weekend is not only about food and eating delicious new dishes; there is also an educational focus on where the food comes from and eating local and fresh ingredients.
