Grand Canyon Glamping Resort, located near Grand Canyon West and the iconic Skywalk, has introduced new accommodations and amenities. The resort’s latest additions include the luxurious Stargazer Geodesic Domes and Last Chance Restaurant and Saloon, alongside other unique lodging options like covered wagons, tipis, and glamping tents.
Grand Canyon Glamping Resort offers the only glamping experience and one of the only overnight accommodations options in the region, and now has even more to offer its guests.
The newly unveiled Stargazer Geodesic Domes provide an unforgettable experience, combining luxury with the beauty of the Western landscape. Guests can enjoy panoramic views of the desert stretching to the Grand Canyon’s western rim during the day. By night, these domes transform into stargazing havens, allowing visitors to gaze at the star-filled skies from the comfort of a king-sized bed. Each dome accommodates up to six guests, with select units set high on a bluff for unparalleled views.
Other glamping options include covered wagons, tipis, and glamping tents, all offering a different experience. The covered wagons are spacious with a king-sized bed and bunk beds, accommodating up to six guests, while the tipis offer a more rustic experience, also with a king-sized bed and accommodations for six. The glamping tents are equipped with a futon bed that can be customized for couples or individuals. All accommodations include plush bedding, heating, air conditioning, and Wi-Fi. Select units have private bathrooms, while others have access to shared facilities.
Last Chance Restaurant and Saloon, the resort’s signature restaurant, offers hearty meals made with high-quality ingredients like farm-fresh eggs and premium 1855 Black Angus USDA beef. The menu features a variety of options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Breakfast favorites include omelets, pancakes, and breakfast burritos. The lunch and dinner menu offers soups, appetizers, sandwiches, burgers, hot dogs, wings, and fireside s’mores kits for a sweet ending to the day. Beverage offerings range from wines and beers to a full bar selection.
“Every moment at the resort is an adventure—from our heart-pounding outdoor activities to living it up at the saloon, stargazing from your bed, or savoring the most extraordinary Black Angus ribeye money can buy after a vigorous hike in view of the Grand Canyon,” says Russ Mann, president and chief executive officer of Grand Canyon Glamping Resort, in a recent press release. “Best of all, after a long day of excitement, visitors can experience luxurious accommodations and all of the comforts of home with our collection of new amenities.”
For thrill-seekers, the resort offers a range of outdoor activities like helicopter tours, horseback riding, and ATV and UTV tours. Each adventure can be booked separately or bundled for a comprehensive experience, with select options including lunch. Take a breathtaking 20-minute Helicopter Tour over the Grand Canyon, descending 2,500 feet for an up-close view of the canyon walls, or take a high-energy ATV or UTV ride through the Joshua Tree Forest and along the edge of the West Rim. Group or private horseback riding tours explore scenic trails, wildlife habitats, and rugged terrain. Private rides can include custom activities like horsemanship clinics and roping.
