Aptly named Citrus Grove, the venue is tucked between the hotel’s two northeast wings and surrounded by citrus trees, palm trees, and lush landscaping, offering guests an intimate oasis under the Arizona sun.
Originally opened in 1956 and restored into its retro-modern glory, Hotel Valley Ho is a 241-room urban resort in the heart of Scottsdale. The property offers a perfect blend of classic design and modern luxury, complete with dining at ZuZu and treatments at VH Spa for Vitality and Health.
The newly unveiled outdoor special events venue, Citrus Grove, spans 4,080 square feet and accommodates up to 160 guests for cocktail-style gatherings or up to 200 guests for wedding ceremonies. The space is adorned with romantic bistro lighting and features a natural ambiance that blends seamlessly with Hotel Valley Ho’s signature mid-century modern charm.

With the addition of Citrus Grove, Hotel Valley Ho now has over 24,000 square feet of total outdoor event space. The Scottsdale hotel offers a variety of unique and versatile venue spaces for any occasion. Other venues include the Palm Court Lawn, the OH Pool, the OHasis Pool, the Main Place Courtyard, and the panoramic Skyline Rooftop atop The Tower. The Palm Court Lawn, framed by historic palm trees from the 1950s and twinkling lights, is a sprawling space perfect for everything from breakfast meetings to grand galas. For something more intimate, the East Palm Lawn offers a secluded setting surrounded by greenery, ideal for outdoor lunches. Poolside options include the OHasis Pool, offering a serene backdrop for daytime receptions, and the OH Pool, which transforms in the evening into a vibrant setting for an unforgettable dinner under the stars.
