Interactive Chalk Walls Spread Positivity in Phoenix

Who couldn’t use a little more positivity in their day? Courtney Larsen of Phoenix’s Spindles Design Co. is bringing fun photo opps and smiles to faces at Tempe Marketplace and Desert Ridge Marketplace via one-of-a-kind interactive chalk walls.

Found in the The District of each shopping center, the large art pieces invite guests to interact with the artwork, leave their own mark and participate in a community conversation. The wall at Desert Ridge Marketplace, “Miracle Maker,” highlights how one is in charge of their own destiny and encourages viewers to follow their dreams. Tempe Marketplace’s “Words To Live By” promotes positive affirmations.

Guests are encouraged to tag @desertridge and @tempemarketplace when sharing photos on social media. Hand sanitizing stations have been placed near the interactive chalk walls, and guests are encouraged to dispose of their chalk after each use.
