Local Bistro, a new restaurant in North Scottsdale that celebrates flavors of Italy, France and Spain, opened last month to the public.
Local Bistro has a traditional French bistro feel with an urban twist. The style is very clean and minimalistic, with wine bottles lining the walls and oversized chalkboards outlining specials. It is an interesting combination of upscale yet casual dining. Favorite features of the decor would be the exposed brick wall and the floor to ceiling windows.
The Local Bistro menu consists of an array of European classics that range from handmade pastas, wood-burning Neapolitan-style pizzas, chops, steaks, salads and seafood.
Brunch is served on Saturdays and Sundays, featuring eggs benedict, Irish oatmeal and belgian waffles. Lunch is served Monday through Friday. The menu includes paninis, pizza, pasta and even pork chops and grilled shrimp. Dinner is served seven days a week. For a starter, be sure to check out the double truffle hand cut fries, the drunk bread or the ahi tuna tartar. Main dishes include pasta, wood fired pizza, angus burger, steak, sea bass and more.
Local Bistro’s menu always features local and seasonal products whenever possible.
