Following the completion of The Scottsdale Resort & Spa, a Curio Collection Resort by Hilton’s $40-million renovation, Luna Spa is now open and has launched a wellness membership program for locals.
The 3,200-sq.-ft. Luna Spa is home to nine indoor treatment rooms and offers a diverse range of treatments for both locals and resort guests to enjoy. Standouts include: the Holistic Healing Massage, with reflexology, aromatherapy and Himalayan hot stones; the Moonlight Massage, a Swedish full–body massage designed to mirror the ambiance of the moonlight; the Fire & Ice Massage with CBD, an stress-melting combination of hot and cold elements; the Luna Glow Salt Scrub + Natural Aroma, which leaves the skin radiant and refreshed; and the Mineral Hydration Detox + Wrap, a gentle dry-brush exfoliation followed by a cocoon of soothing minerals. In-room massages can also be arranged.
Pre- or post-treatment, Luna Spa-goers have access to the Zen meditation garden (pictured at top of page), dry sauna, steam room, co-ed tranquil room and cold plunge. Alongside the spa, The Scottsdale Resort & Spa has unveiled its newly renovated fitness center. Spanning 3,000 square feet, it is considered one of the largest resort fitness centers in the Valley and features Life Fitness cardio machines, Peloton bikes, Therabody Muscle Relief, free weights and weight machines.
“Our vision for Luna Spa was to create a haven of tranquility where guests can truly disconnect and rejuvenate,” says Mimoza Banushi, director of spa and recreation for The Scottsdale Resort & Spa, in a press release. “We’ve carefully curated a selection of treatments and experiences that cater to both relaxation and holistic well-being.”
Boasting benefits like daily access to the fitness center and locker rooms, complimentary yoga classes and McCormick Pool access on select days, the resort also unveiled a brand-new Lifestyle Membership program for locals. Members also enjoy a 20 percent discount on the resort’s best available room rate and all full-price spa services at Luna Spa. Additional membership perks include a monthly happy hour event, discounts for visits to La Fogata Kitchen & Bar, early reservation access to food and beverage special events, a complimentary one-hour golf simulator session and 10 percent discount on retail purchases at the spa and Barnaby’s Café & Wine Bar. Single membership starts at $1,194 for a six-month agreement; from $2,094 for a couples’ six-month agreement.
