The grand opening extravaganza will take place on Oct. 2 at 6:45 p.m. and will begin with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, followed by a lineup of performances by local talent. The Rhythm Edition Band, Jeff Burkett (as Sir Elton John), Sandra Bassett, Beth Lederman Jazz Trio, Big Pete Pearson and others are set to take the stage.

The star-studded show marks the start of Mesa Jazz and Blues Theater’s 2022-23 season, which will spotlight local musicians, nationally and internationally recognized artists, educational clinics and opportunities for young talent and youth groups.
