New Whole Foods Market Opens in Paradise Valley

On Oct. 16, Whole Foods Market will make its debut at Paradise Valley Mall. The new store features modern design elements inspired by Arizona’s desert landscapes and replaces the current Paradise Valley location, which has served the community for over two decades.

The new Paradise Valley Whole Foods Market promises exciting updates, offering more parking and enhanced indoor and outdoor seating areas. The store will showcase an expanded selection of over 330 local products from more than 74 Arizona-based suppliers.

Shoppers can look forward to an array of new features ensuring a better shopping experience. The store offers a wide variety of certified organic and locally sourced produce, including shishito peppers, herbs, and hard squash from Duncan Family Farms and Kandy melons from Martori Farms. The bakery department features a full-service coffee and juice bar, as well as house-made bread, vegan brownies, gluten-free treats, and Whole Foods Market’s signature Berry Chantilly Cake. An expanded selection of hot and cold food options are available, including a hot bar, salad bar, fresh pizza, made-to-order sandwiches, and rotisserie chicken.

The specialty section celebrates local cheesemakers and artisan producers, offering items such as chocolate from Chuao Chocolatier, salami from Gusto, and fudge from Black Mesa Ranch. The store’s certified cheesemongers can provide recommendations and create custom cheese boards. The store will offer a range of products from 365 by Whole Foods Market alongside local items like grains from Hayden Flour Mills, chia cookies from Audrey’s Chia, and milk from Danzeisen Dairy.

The seafood counter only offers sustainably and responsibly sourced items, while the meat counter includes dry-aged beef and house-made sausage, with butchers available for custom cuts. Customers will enjoy browsing an extensive collection of over 700 wines and 250 craft beers, with local options from breweries such as Greenwood Brewing, Huss Brewing Co., and Wren House Brewing.

In addition to in-store celebrations, Whole Foods Market will be donating a refrigerated van to the Paradise Valley Community Food Bank as part of its Nourishing Our Neighborhoods program. The initiative aims to strengthen local food organizations by enhancing their capability of transporting food to areas in need.
