Fall wedding season is just around the corner and brides around the Valley are already in full planning and preparation mode. With each new season of weddings, a new trend hits for brides to incorporate into their big day.
This year we turned to Fuchsia Spa for input on the hottest, non-traditional wedding trends that brides are opting for via Pinterest (the newest social media site that is the perfect wedding planning tool, with gorgeous décor selections and inspiration). Not only are the wedding color palettes becoming brighter and bolder, but this year the bridal beauty trends are following suite.
Fuchsia Spa says that they have already began receiving requests for these completed looks and booking appointments for Valley brides, “Arizona brides are loving these super non-traditional Fall 2012 wedding beauty trends because they are different and they are cost effective,” said Lisa Vukonich, Fuchsia Spa owner.
Warning: These sexy trends may shock your mother-in-law (darn!).
1. Au naturel hairstyle, started by the world’s most influential trendsetter, Kate Middelton, who rocked her hair down in loose curls for her big day. Who says you have to have a stuffy, traditional up-do? Let your hair down and go the natural route (only prettier!) for your big day. Blowouts are in, updo’s are out! Plus, you’re bound to spend 1/3 the price opting for a simple blowout over an up-do. This trend also goes hand-in-hand with the bohemian feel many brides choose for their wedding theme. Treat yourself to a blowout, add flowers and you are ready to enjoy your most special day.
2. Bright, funky nails. Brides are opting out of the classic French manicure and choosing bright, neon colors and deep jewel tones that add flair and compliment their wedding color palette. Money saving tip: Opt for Shellac and your mani and pedi will last through your honeymoon, too! Consider matching your nails to your shoes (the brighter, the better) for awesome and memorable photos. Hot pink is a fun, flirty and feminine color choice to use for your nails, shoes and lipstick! Pops of color really help to brighten your entire day.
3. Jewel tone eyes. Deep sapphire blues and rich, emerald inspired green tones are “in” and are great shades that will compliment any eye color. If you would still like to go for the smoky eye effect, a deep plum will add just the right amount of color to maintain that sultry feel. For an extra eye-popping effect, use feather eyelashes (peacock feathers are extremely popular and will compliment the jewel tones). You can purchase the product and accomplish the look at home to save money… all season long!
