The Boulders Club

Carefree

The Boulders Club offers 36 holes of challenging golf, among the desert setting’s rugged beauty. Last fall, The Boulders Club completed an extensive bunker renovation and golf course refinement project designed to enhance the playability of both its golf courses. (The club comprises the 6,959-yard, par-72 championship North Course and 6,917-yard, par-71 championship South Course, both designed by Jay Morrish.) Among other enhancements, the refresh updated green complexes on the South Course and resurfaced them with TifEagle turf, an ultra-dwarf hybrid green that will improve speed, consistency and playability as well as smooth transitions during weather changes.

Standout hole: The South Course is known for its signature No. 5 hole that plays right up to a majestic rock outcropping, as well as No. 7, home to a gigantic balancing rock (“Rosie’s Rock”) that is perched on the tee.
