RA Sushi has rolled out its summer menu featuring fresh and light sushi, salad and cocktail options available May through August.
Two unique new appetizers showcase Red Seabream, a mild white fish that is often used in celebrations and ceremonies in Japan. Enjoy this fish in the Red Seabream Carpaccio, which features thinly sliced Red Seabream, topped with finely sliced lemon, spicy yuzu dressing, organic micro greens, truffle salt and a touch of lemon zest. The Red Seabream Nigiri is two pieces of delectable Red Seabream over rice, drizzled with spicy yuzu dressing and sprinkled with truffle salt.
For a refreshing entrée, go for the Langostino Strawberry Salad. Arugula is tossed with langostino, strawberries, cucumber, avocado, and a citrus vinaigrette, then garnished with a tangy kiwi wasabi sauce and truffle salt. For a slightly spicy option, go for the Tuna California Roll. A classic California Roll is topped with a spicy tuna mix of avocado, cucumber, bell pepper and cilantro, finished with togarashi, garlic chips and black pepper soy sauce.
The summer cocktails include the Peach Basil Sour, a flavorful mixture of Bacardi Peach Red, St. Germain Elderflower Liqueur, basil and lemon sour. For a drink with a little bit of heat, the Hot Tropics Margarita is a perfect blend of sweet and spicy flavors. Tanteo Tropical Tequila and Combier Liqueur d’Orange are shaken with mango purée, lime juice and agave nectar and served with a chili-salted rim. For a refreshing, sweet lemonade-like cocktail, the Pear and Lemon Blossom is a mix of Absolute Pears, St. Germain Elderflower Liqueur, lemon sour and pear purée.
Adventurous diners will want to order the Discovery Sake Flight ($9), which includes two ounces each of MIO Sparkling, Kizakura Pure and Saturi “Little Lily” Nigori. For a tropical-inspired sake, go for the TY KU Coconut Nigori Sake ($8 per glass/$16 per bottle), a premium nigori sake infused with the refreshing taste of coconut and aromatic hints of vanilla.
