A stylish and colorful retreat awaits in Flagstaff for those looking to escape the Phoenix heat this summer. Americana Motor Hotel is set to open June 2023 after an extensive renovation and rebrand by Practice Hospitality.
A local landmark since 1962, the reimagined Americana Motor Hotel features a retro-futuristic design, brimming with nostalgia–from the in-room disco balls to colorful, geometric carpets. The 89-room hotel, located off of Route 66, is inspired by Flagstaff’s natural wonders and lunar history (guests can even catch the stars via the telescopes in the spacious backyard).

Full, Queen and Two Queen guestrooms are available to guests, each with plush beds, brand-new walk-in showers, in-room coffee and refrigerators, quality linens and 55-in. TVs. The headboards are inspired by vintage ski wear while brightly hued armchairs are upholstered in retro-futuristic materials.
Americana Motor Hotel’s lobby offers a spot to mingle and relax, decked with comfy couches, board games, a TV, a shop and fresh coffee each morning. Not sure where the day should take you in Flagstaff? Just ask the knowledgeable staff members for ideas for nearby exploration.

As bold as the design is at Americana Motor Hotel, its amenities and offerings are just as bright: Far Out Food, a walk-up dining concept serving breakfast eats, burgers, fries and frosty canned beverages; a year-round heated pool; bikes for adventuring around Flagstaff; a fenced-in Barkyard with a dog wash station (that’s right, the hotel is pet-friendly and does not charge for furry friends); and the aforementioned backyard sprinkled with firepits, lawn games and telescopes, perfect for families.
Rates start around $135 per night, with bookings now available starting in late June. A $15 amenity fee is applied per room, per stay and includes self-parking, high-speed WiFi, a welcome beverage, EV chargers, a reusable PATH water bottle, access to the hotel amenities and more.
