Condesa PHX Coming Soon to Downtown Phoenix

Condesa PHX will open its doors in Downtown Phoenix on December 2nd, welcoming all who are looking for flavor, quality, and incredible ambiance.

When you walk into Condesa the first thing you will notice is their express bar, where they will feature order pick-ups, express coffee, ready to-go meals, and individual sizes of their delectable house hummus.

Stepping into the restaurant they have an area called “The Bazaar” where they will have seasonal assortments of preserves, jams, local art, pottery and other gems available to purchase as a gift or for your home. The decor inside pulls both rustic and contemporary inspirations but still remains fairly minimal to allow the art throughout, to really shine. The pillars inside the restaurant are all hand painted by international muralist Mata Ruda. He pulled inspirations from all over the world and gave Condesa art that can easily be revered as a piece of Arizona history.  The space features rooms that are available for events and they all have art that has been curated by the Latino Art Museum.

The bar is fully stocked so you can enjoy some champagne with the girls or a cocktail with co-workers. The Specialty Drinks will be centered around Tequila and Mezcal, sticking to their Latin roots. The Viva La Vida Cocktail is beautifully balanced with tequila, Aperol, lemon juice, cold pressed watermelon juice and topped with a delicate rose petal.

Condesa’s menu will feature TableSide Hummus and House Baked Pita, Baba Ghanoush, or Roasted Red Pepper Hummus that can be expertly crafted right before your eyes. Their House Baked Crackers are served with their fresh Salmon Lox, another delicacy.

What would a mediterranean restaurant be without a Lamb dish? They serve a light Lamb Kebab with sesame seed salsa and garnished with some aromatic herbs.

Condesa’s chef finds a way to make simple foods absolutely tantalizing and remarkably flavorful, like their Papas a la Prensa or Pressed Potatoes. First, they roast a potato and press it with a few slices of fresh Avocado. Then, that same potato is topped with fresh herbs, crema, queso fresco, and a hint of freshly sliced parm.

Last, but surely not least, is the signature dinner dish, a Smoked Shortrib with potatoes and a housemade mole sauce, topped with Sesame Seeds. The shortrib is smoked, but the juices and the texture of the rib are all there. The rich Mole chocolate sauce really knocks it out of the park.
