Calling all seafoodies! Get ready for an exciting culinary addition with Seafood City Supermarket set to make waves at Chandler Fashion Center. This exciting culinary haven is set to open in the new year, with authentic Filipino specialties and a diverse range of Asian products readily available.
Arizona’s first Seafood City Supermarket is making its debut in early 2025, set to bring an exciting culinary hub to the Chandler Fashion Center. Located on the upper level of the former Sears store, this one-stop destination will feature an incredible range of authentic Filipino specialties, Asian groceries, fresh produce, and premium seafood, meats, and baked goods.
More than just a grocery store, Seafood City Supermarket will offer a truly immersive experience for shoppers. With dedicated sections for health, beauty, and home goods, it will meet a variety of everyday needs, while a vibrant selection of dining options will add to the draw. Several in-house restaurants will serve Filipino and pan-Asian cuisine, from savory dishes to bakery treats and popular street foods.
For seafood enthusiasts, live tanks with fresh crustaceans and fish allow customers to select their catch and have it cooked to their liking, adding a unique catch-and-cook experience.
“As a culinary haven for food lovers, we’re ecstatic to present an unparalleled selection of Filipino and pan-Asian ingredients and fast-food dishes,” says Elewin Rebaya, executive vice president, in a press release. “Expect Seafood City to become the ultimate destination for food enthusiasts all over Arizona.”
Among the dining options, visitors can enjoy the Crab Market for a casual meal of crustaceans and shellfish expertly paired with bold pan-Asian sauces. Other stops include beloved Filipino brands like Grill City, Crispy Town, Noodle Story, and Halo-Halo Atbp, where traditional dishes like adobo, lechon kawali, and desserts like halo-halo and ensaymada are served.
“We’re thrilled to bring Seafood City to Chandler Fashion Center,” says Jen Brigham, vice president of Leasing at Macerich, in a press release. “This remarkable supermarket will appeal not only to the Filipino-American community but to anyone who seeks outstanding food and an exhilarating variety. With Seafood City joining Round1, we’re transforming former big-box spaces into fresh, exciting experiences that will resonate with the community.”
