A hit among kids and adults alike, Slick City Action Park has opened in Queen Creek, with a Scottsdale location set to debut in March. The first-of-its-kind indoor dry slide park, which was founded in 2021, joins the brand’s existing Chandler and Peoria locations. Slick City Action Park brings a unique blend of thrilling, larger-than-life slides, interactive play areas, and group experiences to the Valley.
Offering fun for all ages (even hard-to-please teens), the entertainment at Slick City Action Park goes beyond the run-of-the-mill trampoline park or arcade. Around a dozen exhilarating dry slides can be found at each park, as well as a state-of-the-art Sport Air Court and a Junior Jungle, designed for the littlest guests who are under 45 inches tall. The Queen Creek locale is home to the Fast Lane (pictured at top of page), on which side-by-side guests can race against one another; the swirling Royal Flush; the Mega Launch (pictured below) that takes guests to new heights; the half-pipe Big Wave; and more.
“The growth of Slick City in Arizona has been incredible and we can’t wait to bring it to the quickly growing Queen Creek community,” says Wade Stooks, franchise owner, in a press release. “This location offers an exciting new entertainment option for families and groups in the East Valley, while also revitalizing a commercial space that was underutilized.”

All Slick City Action Parks repurpose second- or third-generation commercial spaces, breathing new life into properties that once housed mall anchors, grocery stores, fitness centers, and family entertainment venues. The Queen Creek outpost–one of Slick City Action Park’s largest to date–takes over a former Esporta Fitness building, while the Scottsdale location will occupy a former Burlington store.
Party packages are available at Slick City Action Park, offering two hours of party time, utensils, fully customizable add-ons, and more. The on-site cafe dishes up a variety of kid-approved eats for a quick bite when in the park, like pizza, chicken tenders, snacks, candy, and beverages. Plus, the space offers special events like Adults-Only programs, glow-in-the-dark After Hours nights, and more.
Nine locations Slick City Action Parks are currently open in Arizona, Colorado, Texas, Missouri, Illinois, and Wisconsin. With four Arizona openings planned for 2025, 10 corporate openings nationally, and 15 to 20 franchise openings in 2025, Slick City is poised for significant growth in this new year.

Individual tickets for 90- or 120-minute sessions can be purchased online or onsite at Slick City Action Park locations. Special grip CitySocks much be worn by all guests who enjoy the action park, and waivers must be signed to partake in the fun.
