Spring Break Escapes

Explore the Outdoors in the East Valley

Open-air fun for the entire family, Visit Mesa offers two GeoTours perfect for spring break exploring. The Fresh Foodie Trail GeoTour, which was just launched in 2021, takes participants to Mesa’s farms and the agritourism attractions in surrounding towns. The Autism Travel GeoTour is a collection of geocaches anchored at many of Mesa’s participating Certified Autism Centers and city parks. Be sure to visit the Mesa Visitor Center after finding the geocaches to collect a souvenir!

From Humpty Dumpty on Macdonald to the What Lifts You mural on Main Street, Downtown Mesa is brimming with picture-perfect (and sometimes interactive) public art. Download a digital guide here before heading out on your inspiring art tour.

End a day of East Valley exploring with an Olive Oil 101 class and indulge in pizza (the San Tan pizza is a must, topped with Arizona-grown pistachios) and sangria under the stars at Queen Creek Olive Mill. (End your repast with fresh gelato and olive oil cupcakes!)
