CryoSkin utilizes the science behind Cryolipolysis. Cryolipolysis is used to destroy fat cells directly under the skin’s surface (subcutaneous fat cells) by freezing within the temperature range of +8 to -8 degrees. Many people lose between 0.5 to 1.5 inches in 1-2 treatments. Five sessions are recommended for best results.
SLIMMING: the Cryoskin machine is capable of causing thermal shock due to its ability to alternate rapidly and automatically between periods of skin warming (up to 40°) and cooling (up to -8°). This phenomenon causes apoptosis, or cell death, of subcutaneous fat tissues. The destroyed fat cells will drain through the lymphatic system and then get flushed out through the kidneys and urine. The recommended frequency is 1 treatment every 14 days for slimming treatments. There is a physiological reason for this: when apoptosis occurs and some fat cells die, waste is formed. This will be eliminated by natural routes (blood, lymphatic system, and then urine). Metabolism must therefore be allowed to evacuate this waste without overloading the system. Cryoskin slimming can be used to lose fat on your stomach, love handles, thighs, upper arms, bra-line, double chin, or back.
TONING: This modality can tighten skin and reduce cellulite. This works by cooling the subcutaneous areas of the legs which creates vasodilation or expansion of the blood vessels. This brings in more collagen which helps break down the fibers which create the dimpling. Toning can also be performed as a facial treatment; which is more natural than Botox and can be as effective. It also creates vasodilation but this time, in the face, which brings in collagen and breaks down fine lines and wrinkles. Cryoskin cannot be used within one month of Botox injections or 3 months of fillers. Toning can be performed once per week.
