Wondering what to wear to WM Phoenix Open 2025? The week-long “People’s Open,” which is set for Feb. 3 to Feb. 9 at TPC Scottsdale, offers a chance to elevate an everyday sporty look. Classic color combos, lightweight layers, and, of course, beyond-chic shades come together for timeless, comfortable fits for a day on the green.
As with any outdoor event under the Arizona sun, there are some definite dos when it comes to dressing for the day:
Do wear flat and comfortable shoes due to the grass and the amount of walking at WM Phoenix Open. Don’t wear heels, as you’ll likely sink in to the grass.
Do opt for layers as the day can start cool and get warm in the afternoon (and then chillier again in the evening). Don’t forget to give yourself options by grabbing a lightweight jacket or sweater.
Do bring a hat and sunglasses to protect your eyes and skin from the rays.
Fabulous Arizona teamed up with Arizona Fashion Week to showcase six styles (all photographed on the beautiful courses of Westin Kierland Resort & Spa in Scottsdale) that you’ll be sure to see on the green this year. Take a look, and learn ways you can recreate the vibe within your own closet.

Here, a lightweight striped shaded knit button down is paired with a black solid belt and white linen shorts, along with one of the most important accessories of the WM Phoenix Open: sleek sunglasses. With temperatures being warmer during the day and chillier in the evening, a sweatshirt, here in navy blue, acts as the perfect scarf or as a coverup.
A classic, chic look for the WM Phoenix Open, a tan linen blouse with a vertical-lined scarf attached to the top is paired with a sway black mini skirt, a matte black belt, and simple white sneakers. A breathable linen white cardigan with black lining provides extra warmth as the sun goes down, and rusted orange sunglasses add a pop of color for seeing and being seen around the tournament.
A black sheer printed blouse, tucked into an athletic lightweight white skirt, creates a perfectly balanced color story. Final touches, a white beaded sports bag and a white sheer headband, are the just-right accessories for a day at the golf course.

Teal offers a nod to the coming spring season in this knitted cocktail dress, made by DC Knits and paired with a black matte belt. To complete the look, a breathable linen white cardigan is practical and pretty (style it around the neck or waistline for a change in look). Lastly, an oversized hat and sunglasses add a sun-safe yet stylish touch.
To level up a traditional sporty look, a white athletic jacket and dusted brown loafers with elegant gold hardware complete a classic base of a lightweight twill button down and light brown khaki shorts.
White and navy is a classic color combo, showcased here in a knitted sweater with an unexpected pop of cooler, baby blue along the collar. For a next-level athletic-inspired fit, a lightweight black skirt, a white sports bag, calf-length knitted socks, and tennis shoes (an ideal option for navigating WM Phoenix Open’s grassy terrain) create a preppy-cool result.
