The Summer of Citrus starts at Joya Spa, where guests can delight in the Lemon Olive Oil Body Renewal and Vitamin C Facial. The 80-minute anti-aging and inflammatory body treatment utilizes organic ingredients native to Arizona. Extra-fine virgin olive oil, jojoba oil, yucca extract, lemon essential oil and extract, and montmorillonite clay come together to cleanse and exfoliate. The 50-minute Summer of Citrus Vitamin C Facial brightens and hydrates the skin, giving guests the most luminous summertime glow. A vitamin C enzyme exfoliates, brightens and firms while an aloe vera mask is infused with the TheraFace PRO Cold Ring cooling device to help reduce redness and inflammation. And, of course, Joya Spa guests also get to indulge in the facility’s top-notch amenities, like the Joya Fitness Center, pool, sauna, steam room, whirlpool, relaxation lounges and more.
Since all of that pampering can work up an appetite, head to the Oasis Pool (one of the resort’s three gorgeous pools) where refreshing summer-friendly eats await. The delectable Ocean Bowl features rice, seaweed, mango, cucumber, edamame, carrot, radish, crisp garlic and ginger-soy sauce, plus the option of avocado. For a sweeter treat, opt for the coconut-acai bowl with banana, coconut milk, mandarin orange and berry.
