After a trying year, Loews Ventana Canyon Resort in Tucson is giving family and friends a reason to take a staycation, and pay it forward this summer for a good cause.
As a part of a brand-wide initiative, Loews Ventana Canyon Resort is looking to aid teachers and students as they prepare for their return to school this year by providing art supplies, books and other various essentials. In addition to the donation drive, the resort is also generously donating a portion of its proceeds for every guest that stays two (or more) nights between Memorial Day and Labor Day, with the help of DonorsChoose, an online nonprofit that will help Loews donate directly to the schools.
Visitors can expect to enjoy the resort’s many amenities during their stay, such as private tennis lessons, 18-hole golf courses, private poolside cabanas, a lakeside spa and much more. Its restaurant’s fare focuses on serving fresh and locally sourced ingredients, with authentic, inspired dishes, including a two-to-five tasting course for little ones.
While enjoying their staycations, guests can take advantage of Loews’ summer special, “Live Like a Local.” Each visitor will receive a $50 daily food and beverage credit, waived resort fees, and even a late check-out time of 3 p.m.
The resort encourages its visitors to bring along the entire family and focuses on its goal to treat and welcome each guest as if they were family. They refine the art of togetherness with a new program, “Loews Loves Families.” The brand-wide program offers not-so-traditional perks during an overnight stay, such as supplying necessities like cribs and nightlights to providing exclusive, plant-based bath amenities and organic baby food readily available by phone.
Loews’ goal of treating everyone like family really does include everyone–including your furry friends. Your VIP (Very Important Pet) will be waited on hand and paw with gourmet meals (for both cats and dogs) handcrafted by an executive chef, specialized bedding, collars and even restroom accommodations.
