The Merchantile Phoenix Set to Open This Fall

The Valley’s beloved The Merchantile will open its second location, this time in Phoenix, this fall—just in time for the holiday season.

The Merchantile is an artisan market that grants small business owners a space and voice to share their work with our ever-growing community. The new location is the second brick-and-mortar outpost, following the Tempe Marketplace location, which brought over 300 shoppers to each of its 10 market series events.

“We’re so excited to expand to the Phoenix community,” says The Merchantile’s founder, Kimberly Pak. “Each of our vendors brings such a unique and talented perspective to the Valley that we love celebrating, and we can’t wait to share even more at our new location.”

Redemption Market

The new location, housed in the Cinema Park Plaza, opens with a new crop of vendors in addition to some familiar, local favorites. The space is a whopping 5,400 square feet, marking the most extensive boutique in Phoenix to date, with vibrant murals painted by Valley artists and 10-ft.-by-10-ft. vendor booths. The market anticipates 100 local vendors daily, including favorites like Uptown Hippie, Redemption Market, Painted Ladies, Iconic Arizona, Old Town Gypsy and many more. Each provides shoppers unique items, like accessories, apparel, home goods and other goodies made right here in Arizona.
