Senna House Hotel in Old Town Scottsdale

The newest addition to Old Town Scottsdale’s historic district, the Senna House Hotel, a Hilton Curio Collection, made its debut earlier this month and is welcoming guests in for a luxurious, yet comfortable stay in a Sonoran Oasis.

Designed by architects from Nelson Partners and built from the ground up, Senna House Hotel is a boutique-style concept and houses 169 suites, spread across six stories. A modern, desert-chic design can be found throughout the hotel and into the guests’ suites, with walls decked in desert plant life (like self-sustaining succulents), a contrasting color palette, unique finishes and an urban vibe.

“We are pleased to debut Senna House Scottsdale, which brings an authentic blend of desert modern design and lifestyle luxury hospitality to Downtown Scottsdale,” says Tyler Kent, managing principal at Opwest Partners, the lead investing and development firm, in a press release.

Each suite features jaw-dropping views of our desert home, with the Winfield suite showcasing Old Town’s glowing cityscape and the Pinnacle Suite offering a breathtaking view of Camelback Mountain, Red Mountain, Superstition Mountain and the Four Peaks all in one place. In addition, the rooms will feature upgraded spaces with luxury amenities, refreshing linens and a calming, warm color palette to guarantee the ultimate relaxation experience.

Cala Dining Space

Slated to open later this month is the hotel’s onsite dining spot, Cala. The Mediterranean coastal concept is driven by world-renowned chef and Food Network star Chef Beau MacMillan, who has curated a menu inspired by destinations along the Mediterranean coastline like Greece, Spain and Italy. The menu focuses heavily on providing healthy authentic bites and only uses fresh, seasonal ingredients for each dish. Guests can expect to enjoy handmade pasta, fresh seafood, artisan bread and locally-grown vegetables in the integrated indoor and open outdoor dining space, or a boozy cocktail hour at the 40-ft. patio bar. In addition to Cala, a swanky rooftop bar can be found by Senna House Hotel’s pool club for late-night sips and bites.
