The Japanese Friendship Garden
Phoenix
Ask for a lifetime together at The Japanese Friendship Garden, a peaceful oasis in the heart of Phoenix. This authentic Japanese stroll garden transports visitors from the city and into Japan, with popular proposal areas including in front of the 14-ft. rushing waterfall (pictured above) and the Stone Harbor area (though the garden also has a variety of other settings to choose from, including flowing steams, koi ponds, and stone bridges lined with softly glowing lanterns). For those who would like to pop the question at The Japanese Friendship Garden, guests must book a private photoshoot reservation. The reservation will ensure your special moment will be captured by professionals when no other guests are browsing the gardens. The garden is open Tuesday to Thursday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Friday to Sunday, from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. For more information, visit jfgphx.org.
