The engines are revving, and the excitement is building as Barrett-Jackson, The World’s Largest Collector Car Auction, gears up for its annual event, set to take place from Jan. 18 to Jan. 26, at WestWorld of Scottsdale.
Known as the premier season opener for the collector car hobbyist, Barrett-Jackson returns to the Westworld of Scottsdale for nine days of auctioning some of the world’s most coveted vehicles, live music performances, and interactive activities for all ages.
“Even before the excitement settled from our successful Scottsdale Fall Auction, our guests were already looking forward to the auction in January,” says Craig Jackson, chairman and CEO of Barrett-Jackson, in a press release. “We’re deep into preparing for our flagship event and are going full throttle, planning more interactive exhibits, live music and, of course, a docket full of some of the most coveted collectible vehicles in the world. Our Scottsdale Fall Auction was just a taste of what’s coming in January.”

Kicking off the automotive event on Saturday, Jan. 18, is Family Day, a tradition designed to inspire the next generation of car enthusiasts. Children 12 years old and younger can attend for free with a ticketed adult, making it a perfect outing for families. The day will feature STEM-focused activities through Barrett-Jackson’s Gearing Towards the Future initiative in collaboration with SciTech Institute.
The excitement continues with the Barrett-Jackson Cup Competition, where 50 contenders, judged by custom builders Bobby Alloway and Troy Trepanier, will parade across the auction block. These stunning vehicles will be on display throughout the week, with fans voting for their favorites on social media, culminating in the “People’s Choice” and “Ultimate Best in Show” awards announced on Saturday, Jan. 25.

The heart of the event lies in its world-renowned auctions, running from Jan. 20 to Jan. 26. Among the star attractions this year are a pair of custom Chevrolet Corvettes—a 1963 Split-Window Coupe and a 1967 Convertible—designed by Jeff Hayes. Another standout is the ultra-rare 2019 Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato Shooting Brake, one of just 99 produced globally and only 11 in the U.S. With a docket filled with vehicles ranging from vintage classics to cutting-edge supercars, there’s something to captivate every type of collector.
“We have already revved up a wave of excitement for our January Scottsdale event,” says Steve Davis, president of Barrett-Jackson, in a press release. “From one of the most diverse dockets filled with vehicles for every type of collector to thrill rides in the latest sports cars, trucks and SUVs from the world’s top manufacturers, we will ring in 2025 the Barrett-Jackson way. Everyone should plan to join us and discover why Barrett-Jackson has earned the reputation as being the ultimate automotive lifestyle event.”

In addition to the car show, attendees can explore interactive exhibits throughout the week and experience the latest sports cars, trucks, and SUVs from top manufacturers. Live music, delicious food, and a festive atmosphere ensure there’s never a dull moment, especially with the annual Rock The Block concert adding to the excitement on Friday, Jan. 17. This show will feature performances by Sammy Hagar and his bandmates Michael Anthony, Vic Johnson, and Kenny Aronoff.
Tickets for Rock The Block start at $89 per person, depending on your seat, and daily general admission for Barrett-Jackson is $9 to $33.
