What to Wear to Spring Training 2015

Spring Training is upon us! Let the games begin, the beer flow and the good weather shine upon us! With that being said, it’s time to break out your cute spring clothes and grab your chicest open toe shoes and head to the ballpark. The key to mastering Spring Training Style is comfort, light layers and feminine silhouettes.

Local freelance stylist and fashion blogger Sarah of Fashion to Fit You shared her favorite three looks to rock for this year’s Spring Training.

Look 1:

The comfortable and versatile boyfriend jean, a simple button down, nude strappy sandals and a statement necklace. I paired this toned down look with a statement handbag to give it some color. My strappy sandals hold my feet in, so if you have to walk across the grass you won’t walk out of your shoes (also flesh toned shoes give the illusion of longer legs, so if you are petite like myself these are great to elongate your legs!).

Next up is a bit more feminine and dressy (for the girlie girl at heart like myself). I was able to pair an adorable white tank and printed skirt (both from Here on the Corner in Tempe) with a leather jacket, strappy heels and pale cream clutch that I had in my closet. I topped it off with the only hat I had in my wardrobe, but you can of course rock your favorite team.

Last but not least we have this adorable crochet tank dress from Here on the Corner (a steal at $38! http://hereonthecorner.com), which I paired with a denim button down and brown strappy Guess heels. I love the simplicity of this look and you can easily change out the denim button down with another color you may have in your closet as well as rock some cute chunky wedges instead of heels.

So, a quick recap when getting dressed to head out to the games is to dress for comfort, light layers and don’t be afraid to be feminine at the ballpark. Also, a chic alternative to a purse is to rock a cross-body bag, which allows you to be hands free while walking around the game.
